With this newsletter we want to inform you about some interesting developments.

Archery Analytics and RyngDyng at the World Archery Championships Berlin 2023

The Archery World Championships took place in Berlin on the Olympic Field from July 31st to August 6th, 2023. As always, all finals (1/4 up to gold) were automatically scored with RyngDyng and the hits displayed directly in the live stream of the TV cameras.

Matteo - the WA's Head of Technology - told us that all arrows were accurately scored by RyngDyng. Thus we have achieved a detection rate of >99% with the RD720 - even in unfavorable weather and lighting conditions.

RyngDyng Systems for Archery Clubs

More and more clubs are deciding to operate RyngDyng as a permanent installation in their training halls. The latest system was inaugurated by the Schützengesellschaft Edelweiß Tading e.V. (a club in Bavaria, Germany) in October 2023. It consists of 4 RD600 mounted above the four 18 m shooting lanes. In addition, all hits are shown on large monitors displayed using our new RyngDyng Management System.

The new RyngDyng Manager

We recently started offering our new RyngDyng Manager to all operators of multiple RyngDyng systems as complimentary software. The software is used to control several RyngDyng at the same time and visualize the results on a single monitor.

Thanks to the central control, all RyngDyng can be started and stopped simultaneously during competitions. The AB/CD switching is also done centrally at the push of a button. Through colored indicators you always have an overview of the operating status of all RyngDyng systems.

New RyngDyng software version 1.4 released

Regular further development of the RyngDyng software is a matter of course for us and all RyngDyng users receive this software automatically and free of charge. The performance and reliability of RyngDyng are continuously optimized.

We have added the indoor target faces with the 12-point bonus as new features, see e.g. here. For testing, you can create this face yourself by sticking a white circle with a diameter of approx. 14 mm at the right place. This works with 40 cm faces, but also with the Las Vegas spots.
